Each year ACDA issues
the following Annual Australian
Frisbee Dog Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements in our sport. Award
winners receive a trophy to keep, and for some awards there are also some
perpetual trophies (listed below in red) that the winning handler returns to
ACDA 30 days they are awarded to the next year's winner.
Australian Canine Frisbee Team of the
Year Award, based upon LAPs accumulated during the calendar year.

Australian Canine Frisbee Best New
Freestyle Team of the Year Award, based upon LAPs
accumulated from freestyle competition divisions during the year. To be eligible for the "Jo
& Mistie Trophy" the handler must be in either their first complete or partial calendar year of
freestyle competition, or the following calendar year. A handler cannot win
this award more than once.

Australian Canine Frisbee Rookie Team of the Year Award,
based upon LAPs
accumulated from toss & fetch competition divisions during the year. To be eligible for the "Krazy
Kristal Trophy" the handler must be in either their first complete or partial calendar year of
toss & fetch competition, or the following calendar year. A handler cannot
win this award more than once.

Australian Canine Frisbee Volunteer of the Year Award, identified
by a vote of the ACDA Management Committee. Anybody who earned money during the
calendar year
through operating any type of business activity directly related to Canine Frisbee is ineligible
to win this Award.

Australian Canine Frisbee Most Improved Team of the Year Award,
based upon LAPs accumulated during the calendar year compared to LAPs
accumulated during a team's previous highest scoring calendar year. Only
LAPS achieved during Toss & Fetch competition contribute to this award.
Teams that have not previously scored LAPs, including those who did or did
not compete in previous years, are not excluded from being eligible for this
award. However, all teams that are currently eligible for the Australian
Canine Frisbee Rookie of the Year Award are not
eligible to win this award. Also, teams that have won either the Australian Canine Frisbee Team of the
Year Award, Australian Canine Frisbee Best New Freestyle Team of the Year Award
or the Australian Canine Frisbee Rookie Team of the Year Award in either
this year or any preceding year are ineligible to win this award. A handler
cannot win this award more than once.

Australian Canine Frisbee Junior Team of the Year Award,
based upon LAPs accumulated during the year compared
to LAPs accumulated during the previous year. Only teams where the handler is
less than 15 years old at the start of the year are eligible to be considered
for this award. Only LAPS achieved during Toss & Fetch competition contribute
to this award.

Australian Canine Frisbee Club of the Year Award, based upon LAPs
accumulated during the calendar year. No start date has been determined for
the first issuance of this award. It will not be issued until at least 2010.
Each of the previously listed awards are issued by ACDA. Additionally, Australian
Canine Disc Clubs are encouraged to issue their own
additional awards and it is anticipated
that some of these awards will become very prestigious. For information about
